2008 summer: new lights for the dining room so it is no longer called the "cave"; 3rd floor, 5 rooms were completely renovated, the Penthouse, Penthouse Annex, Tower Annex, Senior Room, President's Room, so far 9 rooms have been completely redone due to campaign donations; 3rd floor shower/bath, hallways and ceilings were also patched and painted; TV Room received new windows and curtains and a platform was built for elevated couch TV viewing.
Planned work for summer of 2009 is exterior wood and window painting, chimney repairs, new siding installed on the north side of the house (West Halls) due to deterioration, and the rest of the rooms on the 3rd floor will be renovated.
